We're building Luca — an autonomous AI accountant for Latin America.

Accountants in Mexico spend a huge chunk of their time on repetitive operational work: downloading documents from SAT, reconciling CFDIs, catching cancelled invoices, generating journal entries. It's tedious, error-prone, and it keeps them from the work that actually matters — advising their clients.

Luca handles all of that. He downloads, reconciles, detects inconsistencies, and reports back. Think of him less like a tool and more like a reliable colleague who never drops the ball.

What we care about

We sit at the intersection of LLMs and Mexican accounting — a niche that barely exists in the AI world today. That means we're doing a lot of the foundational work ourselves: building document understanding for fiscal documents (CFDIs, tax filings, financial statements), designing agentic workflows that can reason through multi-step accounting processes, and adapting models to understand SAT regulations, NIF standards, and the nuances of Mexican tax compliance.

Why we're here

We plan to share models, datasets, and tools related to AI-powered accounting in LatAm. It's an underserved space and we think open contributions can move the whole field forward.
